First off everyone there address's you in Spanish whether or not you're hispanic. That never bothered me though as this is Miami and I am used to it. My issue results from a bill. To understand where I am coming from my family has been going there for 15 years and I have been going there personally for 7. Recently I moved to my own insurance from my mothers and I called them to see what type they took. "Any PPO they said", so thats what I got. A week before my regular cleaning they called and asked for my new info. At time of cleaning they said nothing and I had the procedure done. I get a bill two months later saying I owe money. I go to find out why and they say it's because I'm out of my network. I asked why they didn't tell me about it and they couldn't provide and answer other than "we don't know until we charge it". Really? So when you take your car in for service you just leave it without a quote? I find the answer ridiculous. Also when I stated I would be going to another dentist they tried to tell me I would receive sub standard care. All in all I'm saddened to end my family's relationship with this dentist over their ignorance. The work they do is good but just make sure if you're a new customer you contact your insurance company and find out if they cover it because this dentist won't and you'll get shafted with a bill!
